What can I make the robots out of?
Anything. As long as your robot follows all the rules, the material used in construction doesn't matter. At the heart of your robot will be a microcontroller of some sort. Microcontrollers that could be used include the Picaxe, Basic Stamp, Fischertechnic, Meccano, Microbric, and the RCX or NXT LEGO controllers.
